Beautiful olive and a hint of camphor on the nose with a light ruby color. Palate has anise and blueberry wit a hint of tar. Finish is tight but expected from something this young. Great potential but needs cellaring.

Decanted for 1h at Le Bernardin in NYC. A smooth but slightly brash, young Barolo. It has nice red fruit and acid. The cottony tannins are noticeable but not excessive. This really needs another 4-5 years to harmonize.

Pre-Exam Blinds at RN74 (RN74): (Non-Blind) Delicious dark savory liquorice, savory nose. Shiny. Palate: high acid, high alcohol, high tannins. Chewy. Delicious! Score: Around 9

We sipped several glasses at Le Bernardin New York City during a fantabulous lunch. A jolly good Barolo by the glass. Perhaps a touch too young, but worthy to sip now for the experience.
