Medium dark red color. PNP, drank 2 glasses over 2 hours. The nose displays fine ground tobacco up front, a vast array of dried loamy earth, aromatic dried spices, deep red fruits, cherry, strawberry-rhubarb, so divinely earthy, with hints of cacao. The palate shows the same deep, tart cherry and strawberry-rhubarb with a dose of raspberry and spicy underbrush, tobacco, medium bodied, savory with a medium finish. Really good stuff. 92+pts.
Really caught this bottle in a nice spot. Good balance between ripeness with fresh earth driven red fruit. Such an Oregon wine in its forest floor umami notes to back up the pure fruit.

Medium dark red. PNP, drank 2 glasses over 2.5 hours. This really didn't begin to open up for 45 minutes. It was pretty reticent and simple. An hour made a huge difference as this nose opened up to show great savory and complex Gevrey like spices, dried forest floor, deep raspberry fruit. The palate brings everything full circle, medium plus body, good intensity and a medium finish. Really turned out nicely.

Bandon Dunes PTI: 2012 Oregon Pinots; 2/14/2022-2/15/2022 (Bandon Dunes Resort): Another PNP in a resort room with no notes, but great results on the faces of the tasters! Nice acidity and fruit balance. Nearing end of plateau.

My first and only bottle, I decided to give it a long 4+ hour decant in the wine cellar, and the wine was absolutely terrific in all respects.
