  • Saturday night at Davyd's place. Pop and poured.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of cranberries, strawberries, raspberries, sweet herbs, earth. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol, smooth medium+ tannins, full body. Pronounced flavour intensity, with flavours of cranberries, ripe strawberries, raspberries, ripe red cherries, sweet herbs ?thyme, licorice, earth, tobacco. Medium+ finish.
Very good quality Primitivo. No oak treatment. Nice to drink now. May improve slightly and hold well over the next 3-4 years, but not beyond.
