I have always been impressed by this wine and this bottle was no exception. Typical Oregon pinot flavors and textures. Dark berry fruits with a brambly, wild character along with spice and earth flavors, a lean texture and some slightly rough edges. Been a year since I last tasted this wine and it has mellowed slightly in the interim. Good balance and nice acidity make it a good food wine. 91+

Drank a glass or two, vacuumed and stored in frig overnight. Much better on the 2nd day. Not much nose, medium-bodied and smooth with bright, fresh red fruits, spice, earth and tart acidity. A couple of sharp edges and a slightly wild character.

Lighter, leaner and with less depth and intensity than a bottle a year ago. Red cherry, rhubarb, spice and a bit of earth, but everything seemed a bit muted - like a watercolor instead of an oil painting.. I'm not sure what to think of this wine in spite of having consumed several glasses over the past couple of hours. I am not going to score as this was quite different from other tasters notes and from my prior experience.

Nine more months in bottle made this an even better wine than the one we had last September. Same earthy fruit with mushrooms, but it had a little tomato skin and more herbs. Best $20ish OR pinot on the market.

Lovely Oregon pinot - cranberry and earth, lean, smooth. Good tension and plenty of grip.
