  • Served blind. Had this on Riesling given the petrol/diesel signature. Peachy and oily. More stone fruits, spicy and juicy.

  • Medium Plus gold color. There's a lot of petrol, gasoline and oily note coming off the nose. I thought this was either a Chennin or Reisling. Medium plus weight with some mineral notes and yellow fruit.

  • Bottle#3 of this gem.
On nose and palate: signature notes from 2017 and 2020....but this wine has developed more balance, dimensions and subtlty :the fruit and acidity and oak have woven into a full bodied carpet of flavour, with additional notes of star fruit , marzipan and a ghost of pine cone....in addition to the aforementioned citrus, apple, walnut etc..etc....a formidable opponent to Domaine de Chevalier blanc 2013.....I have 2 bottles left.
Showing beautifully at 8 years of age....aptly designated , Grand Cru Classe....this was $97.00 in Vancouver on release in 2016....the 2018, released in limited quantities is now $125.00 per bottle!
Americans will be able to buy this for half that , I expect.....c'est la vie!

  • Well....similar notes to the bottle tasted in Dec 2017!.
On nose:fresh pineapple , prominent( but not overbearing) oak and vanilla .
On palate: all of the above enhanced , and the expected panoply of complex flavours: walnut, green mango, celery , braced by a clean undercurrent of Meyer lemon and still fresh acidity and stony minerals , welded to a full, but sleek creamy body....at 7 years of age , a deeper ring gold colour in glass, but no sign of oxidation ...will still age and evolve....classic white Bordeaux ....went well with Coho Salmon , roast potatoes and broccoli.

  • Beau bouquet: miel, cire, fleurs blanches.
Le tout en parfait équilibre, les arômes se détachent mais tout en finesse.
