22 months after the prior: this is nicely integrated, beautifully balanced, with good acidity. It’s still showing very pleasant spiciness, and now less overtly rich. Highly enjoyable over three nights.

Have to disagree with most of the scores, this wine is crazy good, with structure to get even better! Nose loaded with perfume, dark red florals, cheery, five spice and rhubarb esq note I can’t quite place, lots of ripe fruit in the attack, with more secondary notes hitting the mid palate, still some tannins to get resolved but so much acidity and a wonderful long juicy fruit filled finish. Delicious and my last bottle will be sometime after 2025

WCC West Coast Pinot Noir (Fort Orange Club, Albany, NY): Ripe, somewhat strange nose. Too much tannin for the fruit, but quite drinkable with the elk.

Needs a lot of air, but this really shines as a fruit driven minerally infused powerhouse with a healthy dose of anthill acidity

Generally similar to our note a year plus ago, with loads of dark spicy (and rather rich) character.
