Tart lemon, wet stone on the nose. As good as the only other Gruner we've had. Absolutely would do another. Served with Chinese Chicken salad. Good pairing.

I disagree with other tasters on the nose. I'd say to consider letting it warm up a bit as I get a lovely bouquet of honeysuckle & lemon verbena. This is lighter bodied w/moderately high acidity. Crisp, but rounds out nicely once it warms a bit.
If memory serves, this was more expensive on earlier vintages . I think it is well priced at $17 and would recommend it to Austrian wine lovers. Syncline shows some excellent diversity here with a non-Rhone variety.

PnP. A nice wine, but lacking the spiciness I typically associate with GV. Fairly muted nose of lemons. Nice acid with stone, lemon and lime on the palate. A bit diluted with short finish.

Definitely harder and fuller than the Austrian Gruners we tasted this with. A nice wine but lacking the finesse of the Austrians.
