Almost seems young yet. These will go years. Better on day 2 when it deepens and adds complexity. Score based on day 2.

Cool climate Syrah. Dark fruits, tar, smoke, pepper. Very earthy and deep. I think these continue to improve over the next 10 years. Drink or hold.

I concur with the assessments from Galloni and Jeb on this one. I enjoyed over 2 nights with lots of air before each evening. Over the nights it showed perfectly ripe blue and purple fruit, along with earth, pepper and flowers. A really nice showing! Can't wait for my next bottle.
