Organge-skin coloured, this rosé has an integrated aroma of bitter oregano and Etna herbs like fennel, thyme... Alcohol shows a bit much, but this is a good, complex rosé.

Peachy orange color. Fresh but also somewhat subdued nose with fruity and slightly green-toned aromas of peach, cantaloupe, some herbal character and a hint of carrot purée. The wine is full-bodied, ripe and rich on the palate with borderline overripe flavors of peach, some juicy forest fruits, a little bit of gooseberry and a hint of stony minerality. The wine is medium-to-moderate in acidity. The finish is quite warm and pretty rich with almost overripe flavors of peach, melon, some herbal character, a little bit of red apple and a hint of smoke. There seems to be a subtle touch of tannins.
A rather voluminous and noticeably ripe rosé that reminds me more of very heavy-set and ripe white wine than a light and delicate rosé wine. Tasty, but doesn't convey that much of the typically lean and mineral character of Etna. More of a hearty winter rosé than a refreshing summer rosé.

Wines at Tosca with Alex L (Tosca, San Francisco): Dark pink in the glass. Nose of strawberries, sheeps milk cheese (maybe pyrenees brebis). P: Dry, low+ bitterness, med+ body. It’s like biting into a watermelon! Lingering med+ acid. Lots of non-fruit stuff going on. Overall: Very good! I enjoyed this. Score: Around 8.5

Quite round. Maybe a bit low in acidity.
