Pale golden. Savory. Fantastic nose of white flowers and exotic citrus, with a hint of camomile. A slight and very pleasant waxy component. Deep and long. This was super.

Nose offers exotic notes of candied almonds, Connecticut wrapper, lanolin and tangerine zest. I served this too warm to start, like 58 degrees, and it seemed a bit flat in the middle. Chilled down to 53, it’s much better as the complex stone pit, galangal, and red grapefruit acidity become more pronounced and the palate seems more balanced. Finish mixes fresh tangerine juice and mineral soaked white peach skins. A great food wine, especially if you use that citrus component: I made stir fried tangerine beef (with dried skin, rehydrated) with ginger root and szechuan peppercorns. This isn’t getting better, but should drink beautifully for five years.

Not a sign of ageing. Nice and fresh nose. Citrus zest includig the bitterness. Tasty and fresh palate. I like the grapefruit bitterness on the finish.

Chez Dalluge Celebrates The 25th Anniversary of The French Laundry (Chez Dalluge, MN): Light medium gold color. Drank a glass over 30 minutes. We had this with a brilliant foie torchon from Chez Dalluge and it working masterfully. This was captivating, with a great nose and palate; exotic, but in such a restrained way, great fresh herbs and flowers, peach, lychee and wet stone minerality. Really loved it. 92+pts.

Medium yellow, light golden color. Richly aromatic on the nose with ripe orchard fruits, some white peach and white florals with a touch of honey. Good intensity of stone and orchard fruits on the palate. Lush and silky mouthfeel but with good acidity to keep the wine fresh. I don't have many benchmarks for muscat but this was really fantastic.
