Clear bright yellow; Lightly floral nose of fresh white flowers and citrus blossom but not nearly as much as a Gewurz; Lighter, cleaner mouthfeel, lightly sweet, nice freshness with ripe citrus, candy apple, flowers. Good pairing with a lightly spicy chicken curry. Even as a Grand Cru, muscat lacks just a little in the mid-palate, and is lighter, and cleaner. Probably better as an aperitif or lighter dish, or salad with fruit and dried berries in it. F-day w/S&L

Ditto to first note. Actually, better. The Muscatiness is gossamer, there, but subtle, the palate is sublime, balance perfect, super elegant, poised, complex and multi-faceted w/o being big or loud. Wish I had more, gotta remember to buy these when they show up...

Really tasty Muscat in a really good place now; lightly floral, gewurz-like spices, honey, citrus peel, some asian spice; Light-ish body, delicate in the mouth with very slight spritz although full of flavor; dry, good acidity, med.+ fin. Expected slightly sweeter, but this was quite dry, very nice with Thai noodles. Same Same Thai w/J

Monthly Tasting Group: Interesting Whites (ABC) at Heirloom (Heirloom, St.Paul, MN): Small pour. Very nice indeed, tropical fruits, though very dry and thoroughly restrained, green apple and pear, lively with stony minerality. Quite refreshing when at a nice cool temp. 91+ to 92pts.
