Light strawberries some yeast notes. Nothing of note after. Just another rose. Does have a beautiful color at first but does subdue and fade over time. *2nd night strawberry and evolving cherry.

First visit to Cafe Matisse (Friends House + Cafe Matisse): This is a rose with serious body and definitely a bit more intense. It's the darker red fruits and more of a mouthful even coming on the heels of the SQN white (which is always a bit intense). I sometimes prefer a touch of a lighter style, but this is quite nice.

Tampa Spring Break III; 2/16/2018-2/18/2018 (Tampa FL): A very interesting rose, the age combined with the rarer choice of cab suav as the grape - make for a much heavier style than you normally think of when you think rose. The color on this was almost electric pink - really pretty in the glass. On the palate this tasted more vinous, with quite a lot of base notes, and some light grippy tannin on the finish. Raspberry fruit, some pink watermelon and strawberry, with a persistent finish. Very intriguing.
