  • In the bouquet dark and red berries, figs and raisins and beautiful oaky flavors. On the palate ripe dark berries, sweet spices, good acidity and a touch of pleasant sweetness. Ready now and the next few years.

  • Very Interesting. Recently released from producer. Dark ruby with limited lightening at edge. This wine is light to medium bodied and its very high acidity is distracting. Not well balanced. However, this wine still has an elegance and very unique flavor profile. A nice mix of red and black fruit dominated by currant with a hint of soy. An elegant spicy ness and a Smokey hot lava palate (not from oak). Tart finish. I wish there was more aged baga around. I’m a fan.

  • 14.0% - Clear, deep garnet (surprisingly deep for it's age) / clean, med to pronounced intensity - blackberry, cassis, cedar, granite, dark chocolate, cigar box / dry, med+ acidity, med body, med+ dusty tannin, med+ intensity, med length. My only complaint is that it might be a little thin on the mid-palate and doesn't deliver the same complexity as a Bordeaux.
Still a couple of year ahead, even though I would not expect to improve much as its definitely within its drinking window. Nonetheless, this was interesting to taste a properly aged Cabernet Sauvignon from Portugal - old world style without any doubt.
