The 2012 Proprietary Red, Paradise Hills Vineyard is another stellar wine from Claude and Katherine Blankiet in this range. Dark and so expressive, it jumps from the glass with dark red cherry fruit, new leather, spice, tobacco, and incense. Here, too, the Proprietary Red is so fresh and vibrant. More than anything else, the 2012 is a wine of grace and finesse. It finishes with tremendous resonance and power, showing the best the vintage offers.” May 2024 / 98 points

dark currants, blackberry, cherry, very nice spicey nose that adds another whole dimension, integrated tannins, long finish

Similar to prior notes after a 2 hour double decant, except less opulent; delicious, drink or hold
