K’s brother broadcast a live cable news interview before dinner (about COVID travel impacts), which got some what in the way of a thoughtful appreciation of this wine. Quite a trip to watch the bedroom TV and see him live sitting at the dining room table. About the wine, what I can say is that it was awfully good after a 1 hour decant. It may not get better, but I expect the 2012 GTS will at leastbhold its own for several more years.
