90 min decant. Lots of savory flavors in this wine; Rocks Funk, iodine, grilled beef, blood, seaweed and black pepper. The blackberry fruit is hiding behind all of that savoriness, and even on day 2 wasn't really showing up to the party. I also felt this bottle in particular was a bit flabby on the midpalate. I don't know if it's going through a dumb phase or just on the decline at age 10, but I'd recommend drinking these near-term if you have them. Drink now - 2027.

A lot of the best Cayuse wines have that focus and intensity that makes them great. This particular bottle, while very good, was a little flabby and losing that intensity. Drink over the next 1-2 years.

Drinking beautifully, with lovely perfumed aromas and berry and slight funk flavors, all very delicious.

This is fabulous. Deep berry fruit with hints of strawberries and blackberries. Medium backbone and mid-palate. The finish is pure silk!

Lovely nose with some typical, though subdued funk. Some nice bright fruits here as well. A lovely rocks syrah.
