Underbrush, layered light and dark fruit, sage, river rock and charcoal make this a fun dinner pairing. It showed priority in the ready-to-drink score, but this was by no means late. Love Gorman wines, and this showed like a champ. Decanter optional, as this brightened up in the bottle after short pours and 30 mins.

PNP, needed about 40 mins to open fully. Drinking really well now. Not a huge tannin monster but very nice wine that had loads of red fruits, cherry and raspberry especially. Nice oak, medium long finish. Always good when company ask for more of that wine and the bottle is empty.

Pop and pour and served without food (although i did have a slice of pannetone, in case that matters). Nose of black fruits. Rich taste of dark fruits, with some ripe plum/prune element. A bit sweet. Nice round mouthfeel. Nice but not outstanding.
Restated the following day after using a Vacu-Vin and refrigerating the bottle. The wine continues to exhibit a ripe, dark fruit profile, with a lingering sweetness on the finish. Perhaps a bit too sweet for me.

Deep deep purple color. I like this hearty red with cheeses and appetizers. Nose reminds me of cool desert nights and sage brush. Dry and full of fruit.

Did not expect that this would still be drinking nicely 6 years after the vintage
Assertive exuberance has eased into a smooth blend of black fruit and touches of pepper
