  Dark as night with some cloudiness from lack of filtering. Nose of pepper, nuts, bacon, candy like cherry, and smoke. Really wound up tight. Smooth and soft in the mouth with firm tannins. Flavors of dried cherries, subtle spices and chocolate. I reopened this again after 3 days, a big too long and it had lost some of it's body, though the nose brought out blueberries and more spices. Really a beautiful wine worth looking for. 4/5
