  • Plum, cherry, and ether on the nose. On the palate, sweet cherry, plum, and notes of rose petal, strawberry, and earthy spice, with moderate tannins and strong acidity on the long finish. This is outstanding, and it was a very good value at about $100.

  • This was slow-oxed for two hours. Beautiful nose of cherry and ether. On the palate, black cherry, strawberry, blackberry, and notes of savory herbs and tar on the medium to long finish, with moderate tannins and good acidity. This was a good value at about $100.

  • 没有提前醒酒。相当紧实的状态下,依然清晰可辨的黑李子、黑樱桃、甘草、红茶、陈皮、烟丝和泥土气息。开瓶六小时,精致的酸度从高单宁和高酒精的包夹中脱颖而出,连带着更多香料气息也随酸度搭建的结构萦绕而上,突破成熟浓郁的果味并与之形成和谐的协奏。整体非常均衡,虽然还未进入完全舒展的阶段,但深度和潜力足以令人对未来充满期待。94+

  • Pope and Pure for a little tasting. What a fabulous nose of ripe cherries, herbaceous notes (capsicum) and also spicy characters approaching. With the first sip you feel direktly that the wine is still in the sleepy mode. Tannins are still too rough. But you feel already the power, complexity and full body of this wine which will breaking through in a couple of years. Would wait for another 3-4 years for the next bottle and has absolutely the potential to go up to 94-95+

  • I had high expectations and was disappointed. 2 hr decant. There was no energy in the bottle. It was stored in my temp controled cellar since release. I didn't detect a flaw. It simply wasn't that good. I have 2 more. I really hope the wine is in a dumb phase and will get much better with time.
