Holding together beautifully. Suave texture, piercing acids, powdery tannins, long finish. It should evolve for another three to five years and last through 2027+.

Showing a very light and feminine expression of garnacha that I wasn't too familiar with but very much enjoy. Light and bright raspberries and earth notes, stems, spices and sous bois.

Very interesting wine where. A bit of VA when 1st poured but blew off from the most part. Nice high toned red fruits with some earthy funk, sagebrush and tobacco leaf. The palate showed nice acidity and tannin structure with the high toned fruits and hot desert air. Reminded me of a good vintage CDR.

Consistent with previous note. The only wine I know of this light and with this much grip (after several hours of air or on the second day of opening) is Nerello Mascalese from Etna. It does need to breathe for a good while, and that's when it shows its teeth!

Stupid closeout deal, drank over two days. An elegant and reserved offering on day one. Then came the second day, when it opened up, revealing depth and verve. Great balance and structure. Looking forward to the next bottle! 92-93.
