Very deep garnet, almost inky. Nice nose of black cherry, white pepper, a bit of smoke. Fruit-forward on the palate, with clean cherry and plum flavors tinged with earthy notes. Acid balance is user-friendly, which means toward the soft side but not too soft. Full body. Finishes fast with more black fruit, low grip, very low tannins. Bokisch wines tend to be about QPR, and this wine pretty well nails that. It's rich, dark, full, softish, and well-priced. Executive summary: fun.

Dark ruby in glass with some nice fruit and sweet tannins. Nothing complex but enjoyable.
