Holding up pretty well for a nearly 20 year old Chardonnay. Complex nose of lemon butter and walnuts. (Amy says hazelnuts.) The nose is surprisingly fresh. The mouth is more consistent with a 20 year old wine with slight oxidative notes, almond skin, and tart acidity. Still, a nice surprise.

Bourgogne tasting (Henriks appartment): Straw yellow color. Very intense but clean nose, with notes of butter, nuts, ripe yellow plum and mirabelle. Similar notes on the palate, butter, nuts and yellow fruit, and a bit of mushroom on the finish. Great mouthfeel and intensity, really live and kicking right now.
