Drinking excellent, love this style of crisp and clean chardonnay with no oak (I'm assuming), if there is oak you certainly would not know it. Still showing super freshness and racing with nice acidity. You could drink this now but I'm guessing it will age beautifully for years to come.

My first Broc chardonnay, and I didn't love it. I love its orientation -- transatlantic & anti-quercous -- but at this stage in its life it's an oddity, with little varietal typicity. (There's real minerality -- almost Muscadet-like in a crushed oyster-shell way.) I think this needs more bottle-aging. We started at fridge-temp, let it warm to a cold room temp -- got better as it warmed. But there was a decidedly sour and kind of metallic note at first. I'm not sure about this one, though I know I'll be eager for opportunities to revisit this on other people's dime.
