The less celebrated (and less expensive!) '99 has matured well over the past year... clean, not complex but showing more depth and after being opened for an hour plus ( also held well over two day period-getting better by the hour) showing a 20 plus second finish. Still slight tannen puckerness which is just fine now but I anticipate it will drop off over the next few years. Started with six bottles 15 plus months ago and am now ready to add to the cellar for ongoing / 3-5 year plus consumption. I originally thought it would fade rather than develope as it has over the past 15 months...
