Still deep dark red (not brownish). Dark red fruits, licorice, vanilla, plum. Tannines are gone and certain sweetness from high alcohol (15%!). Good length of above aromas. Overall; typical high end priorat and very enjoyable and ageing well, but would have liked less alcohol and a bit more ‘spine’ from tannines to balance it all out. Very well made wine, but perhaps no(t) longer my preferred style

Dark red purple. Garnacha and carignan. Nose has fig, balsamic, raisin, plum, slate. Dense palate of fig preserves, tobacco, dark cherry, bruleed brown sugar. Low tannin and low oak allow the natural wine and mature flavors to show. Lovely Priorat.

Monthly Tasting Group HWS #105; Priorat (By RvD): The bouquet is still a bit locked, but shows herbs and spices, leather and tobacco. On the palate juicy red and dark forest fruits, herbs, chocolate, some sweetness good acidity, soft and round tannin and a firm amount of alcohol. Overall a very good wine in its early maturity stage. Give it a decant or wait two more years so the bouquet is more expressive. 91 for this evening.
