Oak spice and dirty raspberry nose. Medium to full bodied, cranberries, tart cherries, soft sweet tannins, a touch of herbs, and a tangy medium length finish. Not too complex, but definitely tasty.

Enjoyed this bottle tonight. Fruit was very good, and way more intricate than I anticipated. I expected this wine to be a "Passionfruit crush" but instead it was much more delicate. Wine poured mostly dirty crimson. The nose was pomegranate and baking spice. The entry of the wine was acidic, and mostly black cherry with a splash of earth. Middle of this wine is where a cinnamon spice started to kick in, followed by girl scout cookie trefoil that mixed with the rear, that was black cherry, cinnamon spice, and raspberry. SHARP acidity on the finish. All of this acidity makes me think that this wine still has a few years left. 5-7? Good balance, and I feel that this one will continue to do well. I think I probably liked it more than the avg 88.4 rating here on CT. QPR, this one was great. And I wish I had more (I have 0). Drink or hold, your choice, and my surprise!

Very similar to last time. No sign of being over the hill yet. Simple but tasty.
