A very young-looking bright purple in color - quite typical for CA Petite Sirah. Very pretty aromas of blackberry compote, flowers, earth and dried spices on the nose. Full-bodied and very fruity. Offers a juicy mouthful of ripe blueberry and plum fruit, with good depth and definition. The long, fruit-filled finish is slightly sweet and shows plenty of oak - ending with gritty tannins that are just beginning to integrate. Delicious and enjoyable now, this should be even better in a couple of years when the oak and tannins have resolved more completely. 50+5+12+16+7=90

Maroon color. Blueberry and moss aromas. Palate saturating entry. Blackberry flavor. Some heat on the finish. Very good. 88
