My 4th bottle of this since early 2016 and by far the best. Slow Ox for 7 hrs and was drinking great. This has settled down significantly from the early bottles. Very much to my likeing now with plenty of fruit. The down side is only one bottle left.

This is a balanced and sophisticated Zinfandel with ample dark fruit, well-integrated oak, and a dustiness that makes it so intriguing. Famed Winemaker Heidi Barrett crafted this wine with care and it shows by being perfectly ripe without going overboard on the fruit. Aging sure has helped with the fruit being more in the background, and more tertiary flavors coming forward. This is a great wine!

Nice balance with flavors of blackberries with a peppery finish. Tannins still a little grippy. Not much on the nose but don’t let that fool you. Still pretty good esp with spicy food. Enjoy during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Nice Zin. Good black cherry blossom and spice with a fair amount of roasted character. A little heated toward the finish. Probably best to open these in 1 to 2 years. Can understand the Sub 90 Ratings now but I still feel they are mostly given without considering how long these can hold. Adding to this note, it developed more of a brambly finish with wildflowers on the THIRD day... Yeah, I think I'm going to wait on all the others....
