  醒酒半小时，闻香有皮革，车厘子，黑李子，烘烤气息和辛香料感，还有点挥发性酸，入口酸度高，单宁紧致，有些颗粒感，酒液甜美风格，淡淡的蘑菇、皮革香气，奶油草莓味，泥土气息，后段是香料的辛辣感，能感觉到高酒精。余味香气持久，甜美草莓和香草奶油。酒的香气活泼漂亮，口感略显粗糙，长时间的陈年依然能感受到它坚硬的单宁，但香气和口感并没有变得更加复杂和深邃，随着醒酒时间增长，酒温上升，单宁越发紧，酒精感也更强，酒有些失衡，建议开瓶稍微醒酒就可饮用，适当控制酒温。

  I usually love Valli Pinot Noir (and really like the Riesling) - wonderfully zingy with lots of acid and fruit, but balanced with some savory depth, all with distinctive regional and vineyard characteristics.
  
  But this '13 Bendigo is thin, not flavorful. Medium strength nose, sort of "generic Pinot", and some of the sizzle that I assume comes with a typical healthy acid addition, but falls immediately flat on the mid-palate and never returns. A disappointment.
  
  UPDATE: notably better on Day 2 (just resealed with the screwcap). More distinctive fruit and earth both. Still not wonderful, but at least getting closer to its potential and pedigree (bumping score from 83 to 85).

  Amazing deep ruby colour. Dark fruits and a tiny bit of spice. A little bit too acidic at first bit calmed down in the glass. Lots of drying tannins - a bit too much for me. Nice but I much preferred the Waitaki from the same vintage.
