The good news is that they tamed the wild side of Pinotage, the bad news is that they used a small bit of residual sugar to do it. Wish they would have kept it dry. Really pretty tasty, especially as the first wine of the day. The color is very dark purple. The nose is heat first, plum and blueberry following. Medium bodied. Some leafy, stemmy, rustic flavors in front of the blackberry and cherry fruit. Spicy, balancing acids. moderate finish.
