  Still some oak showing on the nose, notes of mocha, smoke, dark berries, cherries, liquorice, ripe plums. Quite rich and a little sweet on the palate, firm tannins, good acidity. Again powerful and vibrant finish. A big wine with good balance. Keep. 92-93+

  Deep dark ruby. Cranberry and cassis on the nose with a touch of clove. A delineated spine of acid is cloaked in medium-fine tannins and crisp juicy fruit. Very well balanced, refreshing, complex, but not deep and the finish is no more than medium long. A fine wine and although it is not my favourite of the Gs, I find it a solid and pleasing wine still capable of further bottle maturation and certainly a wonderful wine to pair with food.

Still young, but very promising. Very long and pleasant aftertaste with slightly dried sour berries. Excellent wine!
