  • I've enjoyed many Gesellmann G's over the years, and appreciated it as one of best Austrian wines. This bottle, 2011 vintage, was a big disappointment though.

The wine looks dark ruby colored. The legs are slow; no sediment in the bottle. Unobtrusive smell like blueberry, herbal aromas, coffee. The body is medium/full, rather high acidity and quite one-dimeinsioal. The wine finishes medium.
