4th Saturday Brown Bagger (T&L's): Double blind. Enjoyable bouquet of red fruit-perhaps cherry and currant- with underlying spice notes. The palate follows the bouquet in terms of flavors, however, there is no midpalate presence or barely a finish to speak of. No one in the group guessed cab franc. I would think, given the winery & reputation, that this was somehow flawed, although there were no specific discernible flaws to hone in on. Looking back at my note, I suppose my score is a bit generous.

4th Saturday Group brown bagger (Our house): Double blind. Deep crimson color with notes of rhubarb, red berry fruit and green notes. Red fruit on the palate, with a bit of a sourness on the finish.

Really nice and aromatically appealing. Notes of earth, cherry tobacco and cherry cola as it opened. Went nice with burgers.
