  • Rich red and black fruit flavors, light herbal notes, good acidity, and a long finish. A 10 year old Pinot that is better the second day open. Wow!

  • Tasted this drunk, and didn't make a full note. It did hold up in quality against some Burgundy heavy-hitters (of course not being Burgundy).

  • Translucent medium red color, clear 1mm margin. PNP, drank two glasses over 2 hours. This has evolved even further over the last two years. What a wonderful lifted nose, with a lovely perfume of damp earth, soil, red berries; strawberry and raspberries, mixed with dried flowers. The palate shows that same lift and purity; very bright, red berries, dried spice and floral notes, tobacco, and dried earth. The texture is silky with round tannins and a long tingly finish. Love this.

  • Prior bottle was 1 year ago and the wine continues to show exceptionally well and with consistent notes. Red berries, red cherry, earth and minerals on a classically styled nose. A touch above medium bodied with red berries and red cherry upfront. These notes deepen through the middle and add hints of black cherry and red raspberry. Backside shows tart red cherry, fine grained tannins, minerals and earth notes. The overall balance that this wine shows is again a highlight and it leaves the wine feeling elegant and silky and allows the fruit to express its nuances and complexity. This wine is pure pleasure to drink. Based on consistent notes, feels like this wine is at peak, but in a fashion it should be able to maintain for at least another couple of years. I'll certainly be looking for more....
