Good potential, but seemingly shutdown on this night. Dried red fruits with a sturdy lean texture and some nice spice. Popped and poured, a good decant probably would help.

Still a little on the young side, but this is very good; 2013 is being overlooked and offers good value for early to mid-term drinking; the nose here shows beautiful red fruit, cool mineral notes, floral notes, sandalwood and hints of incense/spice. It is almost a little Chambolle like with the mineral notes; the palate is fresh and bright, certainly not very ripe and a maybe a touch toward the lean side, but the balance and energy are excellent and with food this shines really nicely. Should be very good over the next 4-5 years.

Classic Vosne village wine. I really enjoyed this, though I didn't take formal notes.
