  • This has the nose of a Pinot Noir, with the palate of a southern Rhone Grenache. By that, I mean its aroma has a floral and earthy quality, while its taste resembles blackberry, cherry, black pepper, black olives, coffee and leather. It's probably the heaviest Pinot Noir I've ever tried, but regardless of its actual varietal, it was a thoroughly tasty experience. It also had a fair bit of sediment.
