Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Light garnet in color. Raspberry, a little strawberry on the nose, not a lot of complexity. Palate of red fruit, reflective of nose, with tart cranberry, peppery spice, licorice. Light bodied, medium length finish. Really, a very pleasant wine , but quite atypical for a Pinot. Reminds me of a VERY light bodied (or VERY OLD) Rhone...old world style, spicy, peppery; aromatics increasing in complexity with time & air.
