Fairly dark red. Traditional Rioja nose, light on dill, but lots of barrel notes, berry fruit, smoke and a bit of pepper. Delicious dry berry and earth flavours and a dry balanced finish.

I enjoyed it, but it wasn't particularly interesting to me. It was very much a basic, simple table wine to me. A little fruit, a little oak. Kind of an underwhelming nose, but pleasant overall

cedar, violets, bing cherries, and toasty oak finish. The tannins are very much present but smooth and somewhat subdued. Boneless beef short ribs really brought out the fruit and silky texture.

This is a good wine but there are many other good options for Riojas at its price range
