Drank with a friend over a sushi dinner. He was interested in a GSM and this was as close as I could find onsite. A Berserker day purchase from a few years ago. I think we do find our palates shifting away from some of these more intense wines that you can get from the new world. Alcohol much too prevalent. Fruit was a bit on the intense side. A touch of astringency rather than getting the acid set and balanced. Could also have been because these were meant to be drunk sooner rather than later.

Oh, I'm liking this one tonight after a 6hr plow/shovel battle with today's storm. Velvety and medium/full bodied Paso GS blend. Drinking well now but certainly has some life left.
