Ruby/ garnet in the glass, opaque, cherry, kirsh, smoked meat, cocoa (?) on the nose, silky smooth on the palate, cherry, cranberry, light acid and sweet dusty tannins. It comes together well now fully opened up, time to drink up.

Agree with Sky King completely. The wine is completely open now, all elements nicely integrated, just a pleasure. If tasted blind I would have guessed Oregon PN.

A surprisingly yummy, delicious CdN! No 2004 "meenie Greenie's" here, just a nice, brambly somewhat exotic aromatic profile which outperforms the category. In the mouth, crisp without being angular, taut without being thin, nervous without being closed. A very enjoyable wine which can be consumed with pleasure now or should easily last another 2-3 years. A very impressive 2004!

Light red and translucent, this has a wonderful nose with notes of vanilla, fresh raspberry fruit and an earthy funk to it. Palate showed more fresh raspberries and some steminess in the mid palate. This was a great food wine and finished with more tart red fruit.
