  Tasted at McCarthy & Schiering. Earthy black cherry on the nose. Very supple with nice acidity and a certain pliant, chewy character. Puckering finish. I tried this again on Saturday, 9/20/03 and enjoyed it much more. It has a core of lush red fruit with nice Pinot typicity. Very fresh.
