  • Violet, herbs, dark fruit and some green notes on the palate.
An abundance of violet, cherries and an energetic acidity.
The wine is pure, but lacks complexity and elegance.

  • Clean and poised, good fruit expression, straddling the right balance between juicy red berries and Provençal herbs. Will improve. My only quibble is with the price tag.

  • In a flight with fairly heavily oaked wines, this clearly stood out like the odd one.

Very youthful, medium(-) intense nose with aromas of smoked meat, pepper, red meat (rostbiff), dark red fruit, blackcurrants, violettes, juniper berries, lavender, a bit of funk and some grape seeds. Even though it might not sound like it reading my notes, the wine felt very clean and fresh without being haunted by too many primary aromas.

Medium+ acidity, very dry with lingonberry-like acidity and fruit. Medium body, medium tannins that gets enhanced by the pronounced dryness of the wine. Medium+ intensity and a the finish is medium+ as well.

Very nice, but also quite young. I would want to drink this is 3-4 years down the road. My only quarrel is that it is somewhat muted on the nose and it takes a lot of sniffing and swirling to get it going.

70% Grenache, 30% Syrah. No oak, only concrete vats.

  • Grenache och Syrah i biodynamisk samklang, ger mogna Björnbär, örter men också florara toner samt lite bitter salmiak. Purung, javisst och kan givetvis vila, men härligt bra redan idag till den grillade grishalsen.
