Nose is mostly dark berries and plum with baking spices over violets
A Super Tuscan for merlot lovers. Good acid and strong drying tannins. Well structured but a little thin. Still impressive for a $20 bottle and should improved for a few years

As expected, this is improving. Not as tightly wound and noticeably less tannic than my first few bottles last year. Lots of delicious Merlot character to this. Now showing better length and the velvety tannins are just beginning to integrate. Very nicely structured and well made for a Toscana at this price point. Should continue to improve over the next couple of years. 50+5+12+16+7=90
