incredible wine! creamy and rich. White flowers and stone fruits bursting out of the glass. Flinty with layers of pear, white peach, lemon curd. Just an incredible wine.

Really aromatic nose. Citrus and floral On the palette, predominately citrus and floral notes. Rather viscous in texture and slight oily on the finish. Good on its own, but very good when had with food.

Totally different wine from a year ago. Beautiful pale gold color, with a bit of a viscous quality. The nose is off the charts, with on overall white floral quality, with big honeyed tropical notes of ripe pineapple, guava and lemons. That quickly transitions to a tangerine and cream note, which is sort of a dead ringer for a Creamsicle. The palate is a bit of a step down, but not bad. The fruit is very pineapple and lemon driven, with an odd powdered sugar sort of quality. It finishes with a good degree of minerality, but it combines with a little bit of heat, which is a little off putting and there is an abrupt transition from the fruit. The viscous mouthfeel is very well balanced by the medium+ acidity. A very good CA Viognier, but falls short of greatness.
Surprisingly (for CA Viognier, not Favia), this held up quite well over a couple days and developed a really interesting sweet thai basil / light anise sort of note as the intensity of the fruit ebbed a bit.

Outstanding. Tons of lemon and citrus with ample body. Great with grilled cod and rice. Can handle being served cold and will be great to have in the summer
