  Ahhh. When burgundy is right, it's right. This is right. Still a lot of fruit left, with red strawberries overlaying the tertiary foresty/earthy elements and a touch of spice. Quite Boudots-y, in that it's not as overtly spicey as Vosne nor meaty and sauvage as Nuits but somewhere in between. Still plenty of tannin but they're nice and velvety and give the wine an earthy edge to balance the fruit. Lovely wine and absolutely pancaked everything else on the table.
