  Nose of dark chocolate and perfume. Ruby purple in color. Decanted for 2 hours and wine gained character. Silk texture on tongue. Flavors of raspberry and cherry fruit with oak and black pepper. Cocoa comes through on tongue as well. Acidic and good to accompany food. Not a complex wine, but enjoyable. Fairly priced but not a steal.

  Very much improved from my last tasting. Dusty red berries and cocoa on the nose, followed by red and black fruit with substantial oak. A bit lacking in tannins, so it feels a bit flabby through the mid-palate and on the way to the finish, which is pleasant if a bit short.
