  • Wnat a nose! ... simply overflowing with rich aromas of cassis liqueur, mint (like a York mint), cocoa and oak. Medium-bodied, with juicy cassis fruit and a super-smooth mouthfeel. Vibrant acidity, but the structure is not very aggressive. Has what I perceived as the Australian equivalent to "Rutherford dust" along with a long, drying finish. Not as powerful and rugged as I expected, and it was was more in the style and character of a Barolo than a big, powerful Cabernet. 91-92
