My final bottle from this vintage. This is everything you could ever want from a cool climate chard and it is showing no sign of decline 9 years post vintage. I think this was the best bottle of what I had purchased. Acidity, minerality, buttery, lots of fruit, so well integrated and approachable. Put a Burgundy label on this and it would go for 3-4 times the price.

A great example of Ontario limestone chard. Seems to have mellowed a bit in the last few years. Stoney mineral flavours with some citrus zest. A bit of acid but refreshing.

Initially a hint of floral notes with some solvent/terpentine and unpleasant tartness. On the second day undrinkable with the appearance of wet cardboard. Flawed.

Excellent medium rich, buttery yet fresh chard. Just picked up the last 2012 (great vintage!) from my local store - from now on 2013 will have to do - fingers crossed. PS - I think some reviewers are too guarded with these excellent, organic, natural wines. If this one doesn't score over 90, than which ones? I know there's no Chateau Margaux in my foreseeable future.
