Belle bouteille, (malheureusement la dernière) qui commence enfin à digérer son bois. Bon chardonnay brillant, minéral, et de belle longueur. Méconnaissable en comparaison avec les bouteilles précédentes, alors que le bois cachait le fruit.

This was a wonderful wine. Medium plus intensity of lemon zest, hot buttered popcorn, and white fruit, perhaps pear. But instead of being fat and fleshy, it had an acid zest that was mouthwatering. Arguably far more french than California. Long length that made it a joy to sip on over the evening. With crab on Friday night and Halibut Saturday. Regret only buying one bottle. Surprised at other reviews, but hey, that's wine.

Very nice example of a cool climate chard. Did not quite live up to my expectations. Bit of oak on the finish. But overall quite tasty. Like a medium range Burgundian in flavours.

NY/NJ Offline at Beacon 7.23.12 (Beacon, NYC): Green apple with notes of butter and vanilla on the nose. Oak treatment is noticeable but well-balanced. Similar on the palate with medium body, medium high acidity and a medium length finish.

Nutty, complex, taut and well-contained but expressive, delicious, energetic.
