  • By the glass at the Sportsman in Kent.
Quite a dark, rich, ripe wine. Dark fruits, solid but not angular on the tannin front. Not sure how long this has been opened for but given it was late in the day we assume this has been opened for some time. Quite a bit of heat on the palate and an ok finish. 86-7

  • Almost pop and pour, but notes on the bottle said open and decant two hours prior to drinking. Not at home so no decanter so opened three hours before. A good wine for the price. Full bodied, very plummy flavour with a reasonably long finish. Had with ricotta and spinach pizza which made a good partner.

  • Medium intense nose with aromas of Italy, dark red fruit, plums, cherries, light oak and wood, slight vanilla, raisins and ceder.

Medium+ acidity, medium tannins, dry but with plenty of fruitiness. Medium intensity and a medium(-) finish. Feels slightly awkward in the mouth, might be it's meager age though I don't see any real potential that can give this wine the time it needs to get in shape. Not bad for 89SEK though.
